Message from our Founding Principal, Mr Phillip Brisley M.B.E.

We opened our doors in February 2017 to our Founding Students, who were the first to enjoy and benefit from the first-class facilities available at our purpose-built campus.
It is anticipated that though we will grow after the first few years to over a thousand pupils, our initial intake will probably allow us to begin with one or two classes in each year group. From this starting point the students, staff and families will all be able to contribute to the development of the School’s ethos and character leading to success and excellence.

While academia underpins all that we do, above all else, it is our warm, inclusive, family atmosphere which sets us apart. Our staff are enthusiastic and dedicated and our pupils will be motivated to achieve their very best in all aspects of school life. We strongly believe that developing our pupils into well-rounded individuals is key, to which end we provide a wealth of opportunities in sports, music, drama, arts and a wide variety of other pursuits across the whole age range within the curriculum and as part of our co-curricular programme.

A corner-stone of our philosophy is the importance of community and central to this is the family: your child will join the class but the family joins the School.By involving the child, their parents and the staff in moving forward, this is a most successful strategy in raising achievement and an appreciation of the talents in the individual. As parents, you want the best for your child; as teachers and staff in School we want the best for your child; and it is this positivity which leads a child to want to achieve the best for himself/herself.

In the student and parent handbooks, you will find reference to the curriculum, timings, key policies and staffing, which you will use as a reference point in the future, but this welcome note is an indicator of how you and your child will be valued at Crescendo-HELP International School. I look forward to meeting you in the near future.

Kind regards,
Phillip Brisley
